We want to inform you that, starting on 2026 July 7, a section of the VU Great Courtyard will be closed, and the entrance near St. John's Bell Tower through the gates will also be closed. Repair work on the church roof will begin.

From July 7, entry to Great and K. Sirvydo Courtyard, St. John's Church, and the Bell Tower will be available only from the Universiteto Street side, through the Library and M. K. Sarbievijus Courtyards.

In preparation for these works, St. John's Bell Tower will be closed on July 7 and July 8. From July 9, Bell Tower will be open and working as usual during the season - every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., tickets available until 6:30 p.m. at the Bell Tower Ticket office.

Works will start on 2026 July 7 and are scheduled to be completed by 2027 December 31.

The payment procedure doesn't change and will be the same as usual. You can leave vouchers at the Visitors' office (Universiteto Street 7), the Bell Tower Ticket office (St. John Street 12), or pay on site.
